The kids thought the FEAST was great!  Thank you to all the families who helped get the kids excited with costumes and food for the feast!  We at Appleseed Academy are THANKFUL for all of you!

Cold and Flu Season

With the weather turning cold it seems to bring all the sickness with it.  We want to just remind you that if your child is sick (runny nose, cough, fever, etc) PLEASE DON'T SEND them to school.  It is better if they miss a day or two then get the rest of their friends sick.  We appreciate your cooperation and we hope to have a healthy, happy winter.

Tree House Museum Field Trip

We are going to be visiting the Tree House the first week in December.  We need to collect the money by the end of November.  The cost is $3.50 per child.

Little Miss Muffet

We had a great time pretending to be "frightened" by the SPIDER!  Ask your little ones to sing Little Miss Muffet to you!

Happy Halloween!

Party day is always full of so much excitement. It was fun seeing all the kids dressed up!   We made "spiderific" head bands!

 We even ate some brown hairy spiders! YUMMY!

Our First Field Trip

We were surprised when the sleeping Pumpkin Man woke up! It was FUN to meet him and have him show us around the place!

We got to try out the "Ghost Machine" for ourselves!  Can you imagine having one of those at your house?!

We thought his Magic Tricks were awesome!  (Have you checked your ears lately for pumpkins?)

I think this was a great FIRST FIELD TRIP!  It will be fun to see what our next adventure will be!

Making a New Friend

What a beautiful FALL DAY it was to spend at Lyle Dabb's - waking up the sleeping Pumpkin Man, see all his Magic Tricks, getting hit by the "Ghost Machine" and see where he used to raise chickens!

Not to mention how happy we all were to pick a pumpkin!!

Friday Fun

We spent a beautiful Friday morning in September at Black Island Farms.  We got to be on a trailer pulled by a tractor to see a few of the things that are growing there, on the Farm.

The kids all had a chance to roam around the huge pumpkin patch to find a pumpkin they wanted to take home!

We were all amazed at the beautiful carrots they dug up out of the ground for us to see!

The kids were able to play in the Courtyard and got to try out all the slides, the cow train and the pumpkin bounce house!  We ended the day with watching the PIGS RACE!

Here is what a the kids had to say about this day!
*I liked going for a ride on the trailer*I liked the bumpy ride on the train and also playing with the ducks*THE COW TRAIN*I liked the big slides*I liked the pig races*I liked going behind the tractor, they let us get carrots and a pumpkin*The pigs were fast*

September Fun!

FIELD TRIP- Lyle Dabb's Pumpkin Patch

We will be going on a field trip next week to Lyle Dabb's in Farr West on Harrisville Road.  Have your child wear their Appleseed shirts.  Please plan on taking your child and enjoying that time with your child.  The field trip will be preschool for the day.

Appleseeds Will Reach for the Stars

We had such a fun night with all of our FRIENDS! Thank you so much for coming and for all the generous supplies. We are so excited to start school next week and look forward to a SUPER FUN year!

3..2..1.. Blast Off- Back to School Night

We are so excited to see and meet all of our preschool friends. Back to school night will be August 30th. A flyer will be mailed with your time to join us. Please bring with you that night a two pocket folder. Your child will take it to and from school this year. Hope to see you all there!

Farr West Freedom Festival

It was so fun to see all of our friends again! We always have so much fun riding on the float!
