We had such a fun night with all of our FRIENDS! Thank you so much for coming and for all the generous supplies. We are so excited to start school next week and look forward to a SUPER FUN year!
I have been teaching preschool for seven years and I must say I have the best job ever! What I love most about teaching little ones is seeing their smiling faces and their love and energy for learning and having fun. I earned my bachelors degree from Weber State University in Education with an emphasis in child development and reading. I am the mother of 4 awesome kids, Auston 9, Adyson 7, Broc 4 and Drake 1. We love to be outdoors either camping, playing, or watching our kids play sports. I have just discovered a love for running and just finished my first half matathon with my amazing husband! I enjoy getting lost in a good book, hiking, and recording our memories through blogging.
Miss Janna
Here at the preschool I am known as "Miss Janna". I am looking forward to begining my sixth year teaching at Appleseed Academy. While attending Utah State University I realized that I had a desire to be a teacher and then worked towards and graduated from USU with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I feel that it is a privilege to be a teacher of young children and have the opportunity to be part of your child's first school experiences. Besides having a passion for teaching, I am also a wife of a truly supportive husband and the mother of four children, who are growing up at lightening speed. Besides being a Teacher to them, I am also their Taxi Driver and Loudest Cheerleader. In the past few years I have become an avid fan of country music and try to go to as many concerts as I can of the band, Due West, when they are in Utah. I am trying to learn how to play golf, because I love that time to spend on the golf course with my husband. As a family we love to go four-wheeling in the Uinta's and make memories to blog about together.
Plant small seeds...great futures will grow!
Donation Supply List
We do not require our students to purchase items other than a backpack and a folder. Through out the year we may ask for items to be brought from home but these are usually items already found around the house (i.e. toilet paper roll, empty milk cartons, water bottles, ect.) However we continually use many other items through out the year, if you would like to donate some of these items we would greatly appreciate it.
